Audience members have a chance to view experimental comedy acts with Good Good Comedy.

While the season of giving can be full of festive events and holiday fun, it can also become stressful and expensive. Combat both with cheap comedy this December.

Good Good Comedy

Find innovate sketches, experimental new comedy, roasts, and a wide range of upcoming shows with Good Good Comedy. Search through the line-up from Thursday, Dec. 10 until Friday, Dec. 18 to find one that suits your humor.

"Ur Mom is Funny" showcases three comedians who want to prove that teaming up with their moms will get the most laughs. "Eat Your Beats" is a rap battle food fight where comedians need quick tongues and culinary skills to win. "Weeding Out the Stoned," asks the audience to figure out which of 15 comedians on stage is sober through field sobriety tests, audience testimony, and trivia questions. Prizes will be given out once the mystery is solved. "Burn it Down: The Roast of SEPTA" is exactly what it sounds like but at the end of the show is a bonus skit. The comedians will roast ex's of the audience.

Besides those four, there are more shows available throughout the month. Venues and times vary for each skit, but all are only $5 and within seven miles of Philadelphia.

Thursday, Dec. 10 through Saturday, Dec. 19 | All $5

The "Super Free Sundays" series offers chances for special guests to get on stage, for audience members to try out jokes, and for performers from all disciplines within the company (improv, sketch, variety, stand-up, or storytelling) to perform.

Shows throughout December also offer a range of comedy with acts like "Alex Strang's Movie Plotz," where comedic teams battle for motion picture supremacy as they use audience suggestions to build a film pitch and present the trailer for their movie live on stage.

Times vary but all shows are $10 and below if bought ahead of time.
