The holidays have officially arrived in Manayunk—and we’re going full sparkle mode! Hop aboard the FREE Jolly Trolley, wander under twinkling lights, enjoy festive performances, score amazing shopping deals, celebrate Hanukkah, and soak in all the merry moments all season long. Main Street Manayunk is your winter wonderland destination!
Manayunk isn’t just decorated… it’s LIT. More than 40 businesses are decked out in their most over-the-top holiday glory—think glowing rooftops, glittering windows, festive doors, and 80,000+ lights shining bright along the street. And you can’t miss the iconic 30-foot holiday tree standing tall as the star of Main Street!
Pro tip: The Jolly Trolley has the BEST views of all the sparkling storefronts.
While you’re dazzled by the lights, don’t forget to vote for your favorite “Get Lit” display. Every vote enters you for a chance to win a $200 Manayunk Shopping Spree—because holiday magic is better with a little retail therapy!
All aboard the most magical ride in town! The Jolly Trolley is your free, sparkle-filled chariot for exploring all the twinkling holiday lights along Main Street. Hop on, hop off, and let the cheer carry you away! The Jolly Trolley is the most magical way to get around Manayunk this holiday season and to take in all the twinkling lights! Better yet, it’s FREE! Riders can feel free to hop on and off up and down Main Street, and the entire loop is about 20 minutes in total.
The Jolley Trolley runs Dec. 4–20:
• Thursdays & Fridays: 5–9 p.m.
• Saturdays: 1–9 p.m.
Each full loop takes about 20 minutes, but feel free to jump on or off anywhere along the route—your merry adventure is totally up to you!

Entertainers will be riding the trolley and roaming Main Street—so if you don’t spot them on the rails, keep an eye out along the shops!
Manayunk shines bright for the Festival of Lights!
On Thursday, December 18 at 6 p.m., join us at Canal View Park for a magical Hanukkah candle lighting with Mt. Airy Chabad—complete with warm candles, delicious latkes, and festive cheer.
The celebration continues with the Eight Crazy Nights of Hanukkah Giveaway, featuring nightly Instagram giveaways from your favorite local shops and restaurants.
And don’t forget to stop by the Manayunk Welcome Center (106 Grape Street) throughout Hanukkah for treats, giveaways, gelt, and plenty of holiday joy!
