Looking for a different kind of night out? Pirates and Rum Speakeasy comes aboard Philadelphia's historic Gazela from Aug. 27-29, pairing ghost stories with handcrafted cocktails during a 90-minute experience.
The event takes place aboard one of America's oldest tall ships, where storytellers share tales of ghost ships, cursed captains, phantom sailors and other legends from the sea. Local stories about the Gazela, including reports of unexplained footsteps, mysterious whispers and a lingering spirit, also are part of the evening.
Each story is paired with a handcrafted cocktail. The menu includes the Pirates Marberry Punch, Deadman's Daiquiri, Coconut Mai Thai and Kraken's Sweet Revenge. Premium mocktails will also be available upon request.
This is a 21+ only event. Each ticket includes four handcrafted cocktails or mocktails while exploring the historic ship. Multiple sessions are available throughout the three-day event, and ticket prices vary by date and time.
