Police: Pizza Hut delivery man assaulted, robbed in North Philly

Suspect reportedly knocked man to ground, stole money

Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly assaulted a pizza delivery man and robbed him Monday night in North Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the Pizza Hut employee delivered food to a location on the 2000 block of North Lawrence Street around 9. 

When the complainant started walking back to his vehicle, police say a tall man wearing a ski mask came up from behind him and knocked him to the ground. 

The complainant told police that the suspect took his cell phone case, which was holding $15 and a debit card, as well as the $25 he collected from the delivery.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. Not much is known on the suspect, who is only described as standing 6'2" and wearing a ski mask.
