PNC Bank on North Broad robbed at gunpoint

Surveillance video footage shows the suspect wanted in the robbery of a PNC Bank on North Broad Street Wednesday.

Authorities are looking for a suspect who robbed a bank in North Philly at gunpoint Wednesday. 

The FBI's Philadelphia Division says that the suspect entered the PNC Bank at 3244 North Broad Street around 2:30 p.m. with a silver semi-automatic pistol. 

The suspect approached the teller, brandishing the handgun and demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank and the area.

The male suspect is described as a black male standing between 5'6" and 5'9" tall with a medium build. He has a mustache and beard and was wearing a white t-shirt over his head with a bandage just above his left eyebrow. He was also wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. 

Anyone with information asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous. There is a possible reward for information leading to this subject’s capture.
