Camden County police are searching for this man, who allegedly stole cash from a church fundraiser in Camden on Dec. 3.

Police are seeking the brazen thief who took cash from a church benefit in Camden.

The incident occurred Sunday, December 3, around 1:45 p.m. during a public fundraiser in the basement of Sacred Heart Church at 1739 Ferry Ave. The suspect took money from the fundraiser and then fled the area.

The Camden County Police Department is asking the public's help to identify the suspect, who is described as a black male between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10, about 170 pounds, wearing a dark hooded jacket.
