This is McLeod Bethel-Thompson. Probably.

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Eagles are set to sign former Los Angeles Kiss, Sacramento Mountain Lion, and San Jose SaberCat quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson. Oh, and he played for NFL teams too.

To say that Bethel-Thompson (to be hence forth referred to as "MBT") has bounced around is an understatement. According to his Wikipedia page, MBT has played for 11 teams (mostly on practice squads) since leaving Sacramento State in 2011:

  1. San Jose SaberCats (2011)
  2. San Francisco 49ers (2011)
  3. Sacramento Mountain Lions (2011)
  4. Miami Dolphins (2011)
  5. Minnesota Vikings (2012–2013)
  6. San Francisco 49ers (2013)
  7. New England Patriots (2014)
  8. Minnesota Vikings (2014)
  9. Miami Dolphins (2014)
  10. Los Angeles Kiss (2015)
  11. San Francisco 49ers (2015)

The Eagles will be team number 12, pending a physical. This roster move has no effect whatsoever on Sam Bradford's or Mark Sanchez's futures in Philadelphia. But man oh man is Thad Lewis' seat suddenly hot.
