Reports: Teen arrested for shooting at Philadelphia high school

A teenager is in custody in connection to a shooting at a Philadelphia high school Friday, according to multiple media reports.

6ABC reports that a 16-year-old boy was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Saturday for the incident that played out at Benjamin Franklin High School.

Police say the unidentified teen could face charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and related counts after he allegedly brought a gun into the school to settle a fight, firing one shot at another student, the news station reports.

The school in Spring Garden was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon due to the shooting. One other student was handcuffed at the time.
