Dez Bryant will watch the Eagles-Cowboys game on Sunday from the sidelines.

Heading into the their Week 2 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles are very healthy. The Cowboys are not. Here's a breakdown of the injury report for each team, which we'll update as more information trickles in later today.

Eagles

Injured

WR Seyi Ajirotutu (Concussion, elbow), OUT: Ajirotutu did not participate in practice on Thursday. Ajirotutu is a special tams player only, and the Eagles rotated several players in and out of the game last Monday at the gunner spot on the punt team, so Ajirotutu's inclusion on the active 46-man roster isn't imperative.

OLB Marcus Smith (Hamstring), PROBABLE: During his press conference on Thursday, Chip Kelly was asked if he saw a role for Smith against the Cowboys, and he tap-danced around the question. "We'll see how the week goes along," said Kelly. "Obviously, we've had one day of training. He did participate in everything we did yesterday. So, we’ll see what goes on today, tomorrow and Saturday." Smith may not be active on Sunday, even if 100%.

Notable players on IR

OLB Travis Long (ACL): Long was OLB depth, and was lost for the season after tearing his ACL.

CB JaCorey Shepherd (ACL): Shepherd was poised to have a significant role his rookie season as an option at slot corner before he tore his ACL. The Eagles are still trying to figure out the best mix in their secondary.

Suspended

None.

Injured

WR Dez Bryant (Foot), OUT: Bryant will not play Sunday. He is a top 5 WR in the NFL, and he killed the Eagles last season in their second matchup. Bryant's absence is a major loss to that Cowboys offense.

DE Randy Gregory (Ankle), OUT: Gregory will not play Sunday. He gave Giants rookie LT Ereck Flowers fits with his speed rush last Sunday night. Over the last three seasons, the Cowboys have been unable to get to opposing quarterbacks. Here are the Cowboys' sack totals and NFL rankings the last three seasons:

Year Sacks NFL Rank
 201234 20
 201334 25
 201428 28

The Cowboys made two key additions to bolster their pass rush this offseason: Randy Gregory and Greg Hardy. Both players will be out.

OG Ronald Leary (Groin), DOUBTFUL: Leary did not participate in practice on Thursday. He is the least heralded of the "best offensive line in the history of the Universe," but is a starter nevertheless. Leary is likely to be replaced by Mackenzy Bernadeau if he cannot play.

TE James Hanna (Knee), QUESTIONABLE: Hanna is the Cowboys' third TE behind Jason Witten and Gavin Escobar.

QB Tony Romo (Back), PROBABLE: Romo did not participate in practice Wednesday, which is how the Cowboys will handle him all season long, for maintenance purposes. He was a full participant on Thursday, and will be out there on Sunday.

WR Lucky Whitehead (Not injury related), PROBABLE: Whitehead is the Cowboys' kick returner.

Notable players on IR

CB Orlando Scandrick (ACL): Scandrick was the Cowboys' best cornerback. He is done for the season after tearing his ACL. The Cowboys do have decent depth at CB, and got surprisingly good play out of Morris Claiborne Week 1.

Suspended

DE Greg Hardy (Beat a woman): As noted above, the Cowboys signed Hardy to bolster their anemic pass rush. He was originally given a 10-game suspension, which was knocked down to four games.

MLB Rolando McClain (Weed): Anthony Hitchens filled in for McClain Week 1, and looked OK in McClain's absence.
