Week 4 NFL picks

For the gambling degenerates, here are my Week 4 NFL picks. To note, the helmets indicate who I think will win the game, not cover the spread. At the end of the picks, I'll note a few teams that I like based on the spread.

Wendell Smallwood is improving as an all-around running back, with gifs and stuff

Wendell Smallwood has a long way to go before he'll match the pass protection skills of guys like Sproles, Brian Westbrook, or Duce Staley, but it's clear that he has made improvements in that aspect of his game.

Eagles offense top 10 in a high number of stats

On the eye test, the Philadelphia Eagles' offense has looked "OK" through three weeks this season. They are improved in comparison to last season, but certainly have plenty of room to improve, as they've left quite a few plays on the field. Dislodge yourselves from Doug Pederson's butt for that 4th-and-8 call, people

Near the end of the first half, the Philadelphia Eagles faced a 4th and 8 from the Giants' 43 yard line with 2:36 left in the first half, holding a 7-0 lead. They should punt there, obviously, right? I mean, growing up watching football, that's what just about every other team does in that situation, which makes it right. Right?
