Two men stabbed overnight in Center City

They were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition. Two others, a man and a woman, are reportedly in police custody

Two men were stabbed on the 900 block of Market Street at around 1 a.m. Wednesday, Philly.com reported.

Both men, ages 21 and 45, were taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and are in stable condition, the web site said.

The younger man was stabbed in the neck, and the older man was stabbed in the back and rib cage.

There is no word on what preceded the incident or if the men knew who stabbed them, however, Philly.com reported a man and woman were taken away from the scene in handcuffs.
