Waffles & Wedges will celebrate its birthday with a block party on Center City's Hicks Street.
Last year, Waffles & Wedges threw a block party to celebrate one year in business, and it will do the same for its second birthday on April 23.
The celebration will be full of freebies, including samples from Bassetts Ice Cream, Blue Mountain Winery and Mood Lounge Bar. Be on the lookout for raffles and giveaways, too.
As for the signature loaded waffles from Waffles & Wedges, mini "Party Crasher" waffles will be $2 each (limit of two per person) from the Waffles food truck. The Liege waffle is topped with vanilla icing and rainbow jimmies.
For more savory dishes, the Pbon’s Fresh Phood truck will be on-site.
Besides eating and drinking, attendees can play with adoptable puppies from PAWS or listen to live music.
The event will run from noon to 5 p.m.
