Portugal. The Man, Dawes and Little Feat will headline three days of music along the Delaware River when the XPoNential Music Festival returns to Camden.
The WXPN festival will take place Friday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 20, at Wiggins Park. The lineup spans rock, folk, soul, bluegrass and brass-band music, with performances spread across two stages overlooking the Philly skyline.
Dawes will headline Friday’s schedule, which also includes Cyril Neville Plays the Dead, Devon Gilfillian, Budos Band, Te Vista and Daniel Villarreal.
Portugal. The Man tops Saturday’s lineup alongside St. Paul & The Broken Bones, S.G. Goodman, Leif Vollebekk, Couch, Grace Gardner, Mackenzie Johnson, Zoe Lemon and the Flying Vees.
Little Feat will close the festival Sunday. Rebirth Brass Band, Madison Cunningham, Ratboys, Langhorne Slim, Sierra Hull, Tyler Ballgame and Fat Mezz also will perform that day.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and the festival’s Craft Village will feature handmade goods. Attendees may bring coolers measuring no more than 50 quarts, along with low-profile chairs. The outdoor festival will take place rain or shine.
Single-day passes cost $98 for Friday and $108 for Saturday or Sunday. A three-day pass costs $300, and passes for children ages 2-12 cost $15. The children’s pass is valid for all three days.
Passes must be purchased in advance because there will be no box office or will call at Wiggins Park.
The RiverLink Ferry stops near the festival entrance, and attendees also can reach the Camden waterfront using PATCO and the NJ Transit River Line. Parking information and performance times will be announced closer to the festival.
