Multiple shootings across Philadelphia overnight with at least one dead

Police investigating separate incidents in North, West, Southwest and South Philadelphia

One man was killed after four violent shootings throughout Philadelphia Friday night and into early Saturday morning, police said.

The first incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. Friday night at 24th and Firth Streets in North Philadelphia. The 21-year-old male victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, NBC 10 reports. 

The second incident occurred at in the 5400 block of Norfolk Street in West Philadelphia, where police say a 22-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds at around 1 a.m. The victim was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, but later died as a result of his wounds.

There was a third shooting with three people wounded in Point Breeze as the result of an argument, NBC 10 reports.

The fourth shooting happened in Grays Ferry, at 31st and Dickinson streets, around 1:30, according to 6 ABC. A man was shot, but managed to run home before collapsing. He was taken to  Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate the incidents. No arrests have been announced.
