The Navy Yard is inviting Philadelphia and beyond to its 25th birthday party
on June 7 from 1 to 6 p.m. "Family Fest: Happy Birthday to Us!" is a free event
that celebrates the Navy Yard’s 25 years of transformation from a closed
naval base to a thriving hub for business, innovation, and community.

The family-friendly event will have something for all ages, including live
music from local band OTC Collective, temporary tattoos, inflatable games,
beer garden, and more. Guests will enjoy an array of delicious pay-as-you-go
food trucks, from savory pizza and tacos to sweet desserts and juices.

One very special guest will also be in attendance: the Phillie Phanatic!
Take advantage of the Phanatic’s appearance to get fun photos and join in on
his famous antics.
Held in the beautiful Central Green, Family Fest is a great opportunity to
explore one of the Navy Yard’s iconic public parks. Have fun playing bocce,
enjoy the spring weather in a lounge chair, or sit under one of the many
trees that make the Navy Yard a level-1 arboretum.
