Knitting and sewing classes, plus movie nights and drawing club are all available at The Art Dept. in Fishtown.
The Art Dept. is starting a drawing club, where members of any skill level can sketch a live model each month. The upcoming event for this month is on Wednesday, Jan. 27. The model will start posing at 7 p.m., first rotating through different poses for short periods of time and then will sit for a long posing session.
Tickets for the workshop include beer, wine and snacks.
Guests are invited to bring their own art supplies or stock up at the venue.
