Astronaut tweets aerial photo of Philadelphia from space

With frigid, windy conditions, Philly was kind of a miserable place to be Wednesday. But it sure looked pretty from space.

NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough has been orbiting the Earth since October as part of the Expedition 49-50 mission. In January, he gave us a dark, early-morning view of our fair city.

On Wednesday afternoon, Kimbrough provided another glimpse of Philly from the last great frontier. Take a look:

Surprisingly, the hoards of Ellen DeGeneres fans on Walnut Street weren't visible from Kimbrough's point of view. Neither was the fallout from the city's top prosecutor being charged with corruption, nor the tears of the city's basketball fans upon learning Sixers center Joel Embiid will need yet another surgery.

Point being: Gives you some perspective on how insignificant our human problems can seem in the grand scheme of things, huh?

Yeah, you're right. Not really.
