The Philadelphia Eagles won't be the subject of this year's "Hard Knocks" on HBO. But that doesn't mean you can't combine your football fandom with your secret love of reality television.
Autumn Ajirotutu, the wife of wideout Seyi Ajirotutu, is a cast member on the upcoming season of E!'s "WAGS," according to People magazine. The show focuses on the lifestyles of the wives and girlfriends of professional athletes.
While Ajirotutu isn't one of the main focuses of the latest trailer for the show, the player for an NFC East rival and his fiancee are. Washington Redskins safety Dashon Goldson and his fiancee Ashley North are featured prominently in the back end of the teaser, where tension in their relationship is hinted at.
While Autumn Ajirotutu will grace the silver screen on Tuesdays, Seyi Ajirotutu is looking to impress Eagles fans on Sundays. PhillyVoice's Eagles writer Jimmy Kempski included former San Diego Charger Ajirotutu in his five players who impressed during OTAs and minicamp this summer:
While Ajirotutu has looked good in special teams drills, I've been surprised by his effectiveness as a receiver. He has made an impressive number of catches, and has looked athletic doing so. For the most part he's done it against backups, so I'd like to see him get more reps against the first team defense. Still, the Eagles may have themselves yet another special teams stud, and possibly more.
"WAGS" premieres Tuesday, Aug. 18, on E!
