This is Ryan Quigley. Probably.

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they signed punter Ryan Quigley, who formerly punted for the New York Jets from from 2013 to 2015.

Quigley will provide training camp competition for Donnie Jones, who has been the Eagles' punter since 2013. Here is how Quigley's stats compare with Jones' during the 2015 season:

 PunterAverage Net
 Donnie Jones47.0 41.6
 Ryan Quigley43.8 36.5

Quigley's net average would likely be the reason he is no longer with the Jets. Opposing punt returners averaged 11.4 yards per return against Quigley over the course of his career. That's... not good. For context, only three punt returners in the NFL averaged more than 11 yards per return last season.

Still, Quigley is a step up from the competition the Eagles provided last offseason for Jones, who easily dispatched of Kip Smith.
