Companies can use Facebook at Work to give their employees a place to connect and collaborate.

Social media may no longer be taboo in the workplace.

Facebook's new product, Facebook at Work, has begun making its way into select offices across the world.

The new service will allow companies to connect and collaborate with each other through their own customized version of Facebook. A desktop version and complementary iOS and Android apps are available.

This workplace version of Facebook has the same features as regular Facebook, including a news feed, messaging and groups.

According to the Facebook Help Center, with a Facebook at Work account, "you can use Facebook tools to interact with co-workers. Things you share using your work account will only be visible to other people at your company."

Facebook At Work’s app is available for download in the iOS App Store, but can only be used by those whose company is part of the small private beta at this time.

People have begun posting reviews of the new product in iTunes:
