Independence Hall M. Edlow/Visit Philadelphia™

It is here that the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776; the Articles of Confederation, uniting the 13 colonies, were ratified in 1781; and the U.S. Constitution, outlining the nation’s basic laws, was adopted in 1787. The Great Essentials exhibition in the west wing of Independence Hall displays the original inkstand used to sign the Declaration and the Constitution.

The Honeygrow Run Club and Philadelphia Runner are teaming up for a group run during the DNC that winds through Old City's most historic sites. The neighborhood is home to Independence Hall, the Betsy Ross House, the Liberty Bell, the National Constitution Center and other historic gardens, monuments and museums.

During the run on July 26, participants will make stops at several of the landmarks.

The group run through the birthplace of democracy is open to all. In total, participants will run between three to four miles during the free workout.

To join, meet at the Center City Philadelphia Runner location at 6:30 p.m. After the run, all participants will receive 25 percent off a post-workout Honeygrow meal.
