International House Philadelphia (IHP) will host a Diwali celebration on Nov. 3. Diwali is India's biggest holiday of the year, often referred to as the Festival of Lights. This holiday celebrates the victory of light over darkness or good over evil.
At the IHP celebration, there will be traditional Indian cuisine, performances, henna, rangoli and sparklers. It begins at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for the general public, $5 for IHP members and free for IHP residents.
