This screen capture was taken from the trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," which was posted to YouTube on Friday, April 14, 2017.

You know what it takes to turn a good Friday into a GREAT Friday?

The arrival on our computer, phone and television screens of a teaser for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," slated for release Dec. 15  in theaters.

I am a Star Wars nerd. I see no reason to hide that fact, especially on this most glorious of days featuring a 2-minute 2-second tease of “The Last Jedi,” which apparently picks right up where “The Force Awakens” ended.

By that, I mean Rey is seemingly on that island where she found Luke Skywalker at the end of Episode VII, being trained in the ways of the force talking about “light, darkness and violence.” We also catch glimpses of Finn, Poe Dameron and (my son’s favorite droid, like, ever) BB-8.

We also see explosions, the Millennium Falcon, a dark-side light saber.

Then, we hear a silhouette that certainly appears to be Luke Skywalker – who is (or was?) – a Jedi saying, “It’s time for the Jedi to end.”

I am not comfortable with this quote.

I’m sure many of the 50,000+ people who retweeted The Last Jedi trailer within, oh, an hour, aren’t either.

All I know is this: Dec. 15 can’t get here soon enough. (For those keeping track, it's 245 days away.)

Enjoy the trailer for either the first, second, fiftieth or hundred-thousandth time below!
