Laurel Hill Cemetery is celebrating the "spirit" of St. Patrick's Day early.
There will be a themed walking tour on Saturday, March 11 where guests will learn about the heritage and accomplishments of the Irish buried in the historic graveyard.
Jerry McCormick and Bill Doran will lead the excursion. Doran was actually born in Ireland.
After the tour, attendees are invited to raise a glass and say "Sláinte!" There will be beer and Irish food at the cemetery's Gatehouse.
Tickets are required for the event. The cost is $20 per person. Students and Laurel Hill members receive a discount.
