East Passyunk Avenue's Arctic Ave Ice festival will take place on Saturday, Dec. 10.

For the second year, East Passyunk will host an ice sculpting festival. The Arctic Ave Ice Festival will take place this Saturday, Dec. 10, beginning at 11 a.m.

At the family-friendly festival, there will be professional ice sculptors from Ice Sculpture Philly creating works of art. During the day, there will be five live carvings. At 7 p.m., there will be a showdown between two professional ice carvers creating cheesesteak sculptures for Pat's and Geno's.

Ice carvings will also be lining the streets in front of more than 35 shops and restaurants, each with their own designs. Attendees can also enjoy holiday music and shopping deals while strolling through the neighborhood. Families with children or pets can get photos with Santa.

For the 21-plus crowd, the festival continues into the night. There will be a cocktail crawl featuring holiday cocktail specials at bars along the avenue. Drinks will be made with Hornitos Tequila, Makers 46 and Pinnacle Vodka.
