Chestnut Hill has a day of doggie-themed activities planned this month. The Dog Days of Summer event will be held Sunday, July 12, and includes activities for pets and their owners.

Pet rescue organizations, a "Paw Reader," a caricaturist, a photo booth, pet trainers and more will be on hand for the afternoon. Plus, there will be plenty of food and drink options, a special "Yappy Hour," music and crafts.
With vendors lined up and down the streets of the quaint town, every dog (and cat) will get its day.
