Choose from three routes on the Million Dollar Bike Ride

The bike ride is a fundraiser for rare disease research

The University of Pennsylvania Medicine Orphan Disease Center will host the annual Million Dollar Bike Ride on May 7 for the third year. The fitness event raises money for rare disease research and has successfully raised over $2 million to fund research grants over the past two years.

The bike ride begins and ends on University of Pennsylvania's campus, but riders can choose which route they want to take there. Options are to ride 12, 33, or 73 miles.

Online registration is open until May 2. Those who wish to join but don't have a bike can rent one for the event.
