Back on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for its second summer of outdoor fun, The Oval features food, musical performances, movies, mini golf and a beer garden on Wednesday through Saturday nights through August 16. The pop-up park is sandwiched between two spectacular views: the Center City skyline and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Yards Brewing Company wants to make running a social event. The brewery hosts a range of group runs, including YardsbRUNch, where participants meet at Yards and run a 3- to 5-mile route to a brunch spot.

On Aug. 21, the brunch spot will be The Oval. The date is also the last day the pop-up park at Eakins Oval will be open for the 2016 summer season. So if you haven't been to the brightly colored outdoor spot yet, here's your last chance.

To join in the run, head to Yards Brewery on Delaware Avenue -- start time is 11:15 a.m. Participants will get a wristband at the brewery which will enable $2-off Yards beers and $2-off food from MeltKraft in The Oval beer garden post-workout.
