The 2014 Diner en Blanc took place on Broad Street.
Dîner en Blanc, the pop-up dinner event whose location is secret until moments before it happens, is returning to Philadelphia this summer. On some yet-to-be-announced date, diners will descend on a public space in the city for a massive picnic, all dressed in white.
The date, the number of registration spots available and details on a new "phase three" lottery system will be announced next week at the official DEB Preview Party. Taking place Tuesday, June 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the Headhouse Shambles, the free event will include samples from official caterers Luke Palladino Catering, Garces Group and DiBruno Brothers and a table decorating contest. Winners will receive complimentary entrance to DEB and other prizes.
For now, interested persons can sign up for the wait list and be alerted when registration is open and tickets go on sale. Though the wait list does not guarantee anyone a spot at the DEB table, it will give you a fighting chance for the popular event. Add your name to the wait list here.
