Pennsylvania, USA.

Pennsylvania residents and others who can't wait to scour results from the various races of the 2016 general election can begin to do so at a state-run web portal after the polls close at 8 p.m.

The Pennsylvania Department of State's election-night returns website allows users to comb through up-to-the-minute statewide results in all of Pennsylania's 67 counties.

Whether you're at home or out for the night, you can customize searches, receive timely updates and view all results from your mobile device.

A location-based "My County" link offers a shortcut to results in which ever county you happen to be at the time.

As a reminder, here are the races appearing on ballots statewide in Pennsylvania.

• President and Vice President of the United States

• One of Pennsylvania’s two U.S. Senators

• All of the state’s 18 members in the U.S. House of Representatives

• PA Attorney General

• PA Auditor General

• PA Treasurer

The state races appearing on ballots that vary by location include the following:

• Half of Pennsylvania’s state Senators (odd-numbered districts – 1st, 3rd…)

• All state House Representatives

You can access the portal directly here or from the homepage of the Department of State.
