Instant or just-add-hot-water noodles make for a convenient and fast packable lunch, but they are also often full of processed and dehydrated ingredients.
Why buy a convenience store cup o' noodles when you can make your own healthier and better tasting alternative?
And the best part? These homemade instant noodles are easy to make and can be packed in advance for the week.
Here's what you'll need:
• Partially cooked noodles
• Chopped vegetables
• Soup base (such as miso paste, soy sauce, Sriracha)
• Protein (such as hard-boiled eggs, chicken or other meats)
Keep those mason jars handy. They're the perfect containers for packing your do-it-yourself cup o' noodles. Just combine the ingredients inside the jar and store it in the fridge until you're ready to eat.
When lunchtime rolls around, just add some hot water to the mix, let it do its magic and enjoy.
These DIY instant noodles allow you the freedom to choose your favorite veggies, noodles and other ingredients as you wish. Want something spicy? Use some hot sauce for flavoring.
