Two Philadelphia public schools will be closed Wednesday due to a power outage.
Philadelphia High School for Girls at 1400 W. Olney Ave. in Logan and EW Rhodes Middle School at 2900 W. Clearfield St. in North Philadelphia will not hold classes, the district announced.
All after-school activities, including athletic programs and professional development sessions, are canceled as well.
The district advised parents to monitor its web site for updates.
