The Philadelphia Eagles will cut their roster down to 53 players on Saturday, and this year was tougher for me than in 2016, when we got 51 of 53 players right, in addition to six of the 10 practice squad guys. Here's who we project to make the final 53-man roster this year (inactive Week 1 players in red).

The Philadelphia Eagles will play in their fourth and final preseason game Thursday night against the New York Jets, as they typically do. The first team offense and defense is highly unlikely to see any action whatsoever, so it'll be an opportunity for the coaching staff to get one last look at what depth players should make the final 53-man roster.
