In Tuesday's primary election in New Jersey, the Associated Press projects Republican attorney Justin Murphy as the winner of the GOP race for U.S. Senate. Murphy will now face incumbent Democrat Cory Booker in the November general election. In New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District, Cape May Mayor Zack Mullock defeated three other Democrats for the chance to challenge Republican Jeff Van Drew in November, according to the AP.

Stateside Live!, the entertainment hub at the Sports Complex in South Philly, just opened a new rooftop bar, outdoor beer garden, fan plaza and concert stage as part of a $20 million renovation. The venue at 11th Street and Pattison Avenue now has a capacity of 9,000.

Apple Cinemas' plan to renovate and reopen the Riverview Plaza movie theater in South Philly has been canceled over a lease dispute with property owner and developer Bart Blatstein, the theater chain says. The company plans to search for alternate locations in the city, but the new theater may not include an IMAX screen.
