Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge returns Nov. 2 with new Philadelphia Runner partnership

The annual race across the Ben Franklin Bridge supports a South Jersey school for children with special needs

Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge, presented by AmeriHealth New Jersey, returns on Sunday, Nov. 2, offering runners and walkers a rare chance to cross the Ben Franklin Bridge on foot — all for a meaningful cause.

Now in its 28th year, the event raises money for Larc Norcross School, a nonprofit in South Jersey that provides free, specialized education for children with multiple disabilities. Thousands of participants are expected to take part in the 10K run, 2-mile walk, or virtual options available for both.

New for 2025: Philadelphia Runner packet pick-up

In a first for the event, the event's organizers have partnered with Philadelphia Runner to make race packet pick-up available at its Center City location on Walnut Street, in addition to the other locations listed below. This update makes it easier than ever for Philly-based runners and walkers to participate, without needing to travel to New Jersey to pick up their bibs. It’s a move that’s expected to boost participation from across the river, giving more local runners a chance to be part of one of the region’s most scenic races.

Race day details

• Date: Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025
• Start time: 8:30 a.m.
• Start location: Camden, NJ (base of the Ben Franklin Bridge)
• Finish line: Camden Athletic Complex

All in-person participants receive a long-sleeve tech shirt, swag bag, and medal for 10K finishers. Virtual participants receive their gear by mail and can complete their distance anytime between Oct. 27 and Nov. 2.

• Pickup Date/Time: Friday, Oct. 31 ONLY, 10 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
