The Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the world's largest high school regatta, will be held May 20-21 in Philadelphia. The event can be streamed online here.
In response to the event, traffic restrictions will be put in place Thursday through Saturday on Kelly Drive.
Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, Kelly Drive will be closed between Strawberry Mansion Drive and Fountain Green Drive. The closure will remain in effect until Saturday, May 21 at 8 p.m.
Entrance into the regatta zone is by permit only, with pay gates for spectators into the parking areas adjacent to Reservoir Drive.
Detour routes are as follows:
Inbound toward Center City: South up the Strawberry Mansion Drive to Reservoir Drive, south on Reservoir Drive to Fountain Green Drive, west on Fountain Green Drive back to Kelly Drive.
Outbound toward Roxborough: East on Fountain Green Drive to Reservoir Drive, north on Reservoir Drive to Strawberry Mansion Drive, north on Strawberry Mansion Drive back to Kelly Drive.
Detour signs will be posted and delays should be expected.
