A man was critically injured in a shooting in North Philadelphia early Tuesday morning, 6ABC reports.

The incident occurred before 1:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of N. Fourth St.

The 21-year-old victim was shot in the leg and buttocks. He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police found a rifle and 21 shell casings at the scene, according to 6ABC. Three parked cars were also struck by the gunfire.

6ABC reports at least one person is in custody.

The incident remains under investigation.
