In the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, with the 121st overall pick, the Minnesota Vikings selected Willie Beavers of Western Michigan. In the ensuing analysis of that pick, NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock commented to host Rich Eisen, "Hey Rich, I'm very much a Beavers guy."
Soon after, three picks later in fact, at the 124th overall pick, the Chicago Bears selected Deon Bush, safety from the University of Miami. Mayock then stated, "Bush first caught my eye at the East-West game."
