Hard cider festival makes its way to Philly

'Tis the season for cider

Why should pumpkin beers and Oktoberfest beers get all the love once it hits fall? 'Tis the season for cider.

At the 2016 Pour the Core festival at the Navy Yard, big names like Woodchuck, Strongbow, Jack's, Commonwealth, Original Sin and others will be providing samples of their best ciders

Besides a range of sweet, dry and crisp drinks, the festival will feature an apple pie eating contest. There's still time to sign up as a participant.
