To get runners excited for the spring racing season, Great American Brewery Runs is hosting a special event on Saturday, April 8.
There will be a free group run at 3:30 p.m. along the Delaware River, followed by a ticketed beer tasting in Northern Liberties' Revolutions.
Tickets are $15 per person and include six beer samples and a commemorative tasting glass.
Brewers from Sly Fox Brewing Co., Flying Fish Brewing Co. and Yards Brewing Co. carefully selected beers they believe best quench thirst post-workout.
Attendees to the event will also receive $35 in discounts to local races and an opportunity to sign up early for the 5,000 Yards Dash and Flying Fish 5K.
