Man, it’s wonderful to have basketball right around the corner.
Sixers media day 2016 has come and gone, and Nerlens Noel provided plenty of fodder with his comments concerning the Sixers’ crowded frontcourt. That situation will continue to be a major storyline in training camp, the preseason, and regular season, as long as Noel, Joel Embiid, and Jahlil Okafor are all healthy and members of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Philly Mag’s Derek Bodner and I were both at media day, and we discussed Noel’s comments, Embiid finally getting his turn to speak after two years od relative silence, and everything else that was notable from media day.
