What has the rest of the NFC East done in free agency so far?

As long as the Eagles seem to be taking a break from the initial onslaught of activity, let's take a look around at the rest of the teams in the NFC East, and what they've done so far.

Grading the Eagles' first day of free agency

The first day of free agency is in the books, and the Philadelphia Eagles were busy, as usual. In total, they signed three players from the outside, and released one of their own. Because I'm a hack sellout, let's assign the Eagles an arbitrary letter grade for each move!

2017 NFL/Eagles free agency open thread: Day 2

On Day 2 and beyond, we'll see if the Eagles add to some of the other depleted areas of their roster, like corner, linebacker, and defensive tackle. There's also the matter of what they can obtain in trades for players like Mychal Kendricks or Jason Kelce, for example. But the Eagles probably aren't done making moves.

Expect the Eagles to have a defense-heavy draft

In the 2016 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected offensive players with each of their first five picks. They took Carson Wentz in the first round (second overall), followed by Isaac Seumalo in the third, and both Wendell Smallwood and Halapoulivaati in the fifth round. In the 2017 NFL Draft, there's a pretty good bet the Eagles will go the opposite route, and load up on defense.
