Can Nelson Agholor make the second-year jump at wide receiver?

Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor had a very forgettable rookie season after being selected 20th in the 2015 NFL Draft. This time last year, there were some (self included) who thought Agholor could contend for Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Oops. Agholor played in 13 games (starting 12), and produced just 23 catches for 283 yards and 1 TD.

Eagles hire Brian Dawkins to be part of their scouting department

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Saturday morning that they have added Brian Dawkins to their scouting department. Dawkins played from 1996 to 2011 (1996 to 2008 with the Eagles), racking up four first-team All-Pro honors two second-team All-Pro honors, and nine trips to the Pro Bowl. He's kind of a big deal locally.

And on the sixth day of Philadelphia Eagles training camp, there were pads. Firs the first time this offseason, the players were in full uniform, and they got off to a physical start. Practice ran for more than three hours (that's way longer than normal) so there's a lot to get to. Let's just get right to it.

When the Philadelphia Eagles traded up to the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft to select a quarterback, it became instantly clear that Sam Bradford's time in Philly would be short.
