Fake nurse sentenced to 5 to 10 years in prison for sexual assaults at Montgomery County urgent care clinics

Ramon Garcia, 34, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to 5 to 10 years in state prison Monday after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting and spying on women at Carbon Health Urgent Care clinics in Jenkintown and Dresher. More than a dozen women told police that Garcia posed as a nurse to provide care he wasn't authorized to administer.

Even though Gary Busey pleaded not guilty in N.J. groping case, he hopes to enter program to avoid trial

Gary Busey, who was charged three years ago with groping women at a film convention in Cherry Hill, has applied to enter New Jersey's Pretrial Intervention Program for first-time offenders. The program allows some defendants, including those facing low-level sexual offenses, to have their cases dismissed and later expunged if they successfully complete court-ordered requirements.

Exton Square Mall sold to developer that wants to build new homes, retail stores in its place

The Exton Square Mall in Chester County has been sold to Abrams Realty, which plans to demolish the mall and build hundreds of homes, new retail stores and other amenities. The 52-year-old mall was sold by Philadelphia-based company PREIT, which has sought to sell land at several of its malls for residential development.

Phillies file lawsuit to stop analytics firms from selling software to division rivals

The Philadelphia Phillies are suing Zelus Analytics and Teamworks Innovations to prevent the software companies from licensing their data platform to more MLB teams, including rivals in the NL East. The Phillies, who have used the firms' analytics tools since 2022, claim the companies are attempting to violate their contract after it was extended for the 2025 season.

The Penn Museum will soon return an Indigenous child's skull to the Wabanaki tribes in Maine in a deal that complies with the federal Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. Phillies, Flyers and 76ers games can now be streamed live on NBC Sports Philadelphia with an add-on package to a Peacock subscription, the network said Tuesday. The add-on, exclusive to subscribers in the Philly market, will cost $24.95 per month. The package is the first to allow viewers to watch these games without a cable subscription.
