The Prince Theater is now the Philadelphia Film Center

The Philadelphia Film Society announced Tuesday that it will transition the Prince Theater into the Philadelphia Film Center. The name change will take place immediately, in time for the annual Philadelphia Film Festival starting Oct. 18. Starting in 2019, the venue will drop all non-film programming, and extensive renovations are planned for the future.
