The Bucks County Renaissance Faire will return to TileWorks in Doylestown over Labor Day weekend with five stages of entertainment, games, demonstrations and artisan vendors.
The Bucks County Renaissance Faire will return to Doylestown for three days of medieval-inspired entertainment over Labor Day weekend.
The festival will take place Saturday, Sept. 5, through Monday, Sept. 7, at TileWorks. Five stages will host live music, comedy, sword fighting, sideshow acts, dance and other performances throughout each day.
Highlights include equestrian shows with horseback archery, armored combat and sword-fighting demonstrations. The lineup also includes magic, Irish folk music, Renaissance dancing, live metalsmithing and other entertainment.
Attendees can get in on the action with archery, axe throwing and dagger tossing, along with scavenger hunts, interactive role-playing adventures and tabletop gaming. Costume contests will be held each day, and families can meet characters, see animals and explore TileWorks through historic site tours and demonstrations.
An artisan marketplace will feature more than 100 vendors selling handmade goods, along with food and drinks available for purchase.
Advance tickets cost $20 for adults ages 15 and older and $10 for children ages 5-14. Admission for adults 65 and older, veterans and active-duty military members is $15. Children younger than 5 can attend for free.
There will be no general parking at TileWorks. Free parking and shuttle service will be available from the Bucks County Parking Garage at Union and North Broad streets in Doylestown.
