Say hello to the Birthday Burger and the Brotherly Love Shake.

To celebrate one year in business, Craftsman Row Saloon is throwing a two-day party. On Friday, Dec. 2, the restaurant will throw an all-day celebration with $1 menu items and giveaways.

Stop in to enjoy drafts, bites and whiskey shots for $1 each. The list of deals includes:

• Select draft beers
• Select whiskey shots
• Brisket mac & cheese shooter
• Cauliflower buffalo wings
• Chicken croquettes
• Chili chip nachos
• Red velvet cheesecake

The restaurant opens at 11 a.m., with the kitchen closing at midnight.

The next day, Saturday, Dec. 3, Craftsman will continue the party with a burger-and-shake eating competition. The competition, limited to 24 contestants, kicks off at 3 p.m.

Each participant will need to pay a $20 entry fee -- with all proceeds going to Philabundance -- before being given the burger and shake.

The first contestant to finish wins a burger and shake every month for a year.

The Birthday Burger is a massive multi-patty bacon cheeseburger, while the Brotherly Love Shake falls into the trendy "freakshake" category. The vanilla shake includes a Tastykake Kandy Kake and cupcake, a Peanut Chew, a pretzel and whipped cream.

To enter the competition, email with your name and phone number, under the subject line "burger competition."
