An 18-year-old female was arrested in connection with the death of a teen boy in West Chester over a small amount of marijuana.
West Chester Police announced Monday that Collesha Miller has been charged with murder, conspiracy, robbery and related charges in the killing of 17-year-old Cristian Santiago, making her the fifth defendant in the case.
Santiago's body was found on Aug. 20 on the 700 block of Hillsdale Road in East Bradford Township after being spotted by a motorist.
On Friday, four male defendants were charged with setting up a sham drug deal with Santiago in order to rob him.
According to prosecutors, Onrey Winfield was an acquaintance of Santiago's and set up the deal with Gerald Myers with the intention of robbing the teen, bringing along defendants and Coatesville natives Darrell Woodward and Byron Stevens.
During the deal, the defendants allegedly robbed Santiago of a quarter ounce of marijuana and $30, then shot him and dumped his body alongside the road.
