A U.S. Airways plane from Philadelphia was forced to make an emergency landing without its nose gear at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston late Monday night.

A glitch on the American Airlines website last week led to some lucky customers getting fares at 90 percent off regular prices.

As Consumerist reported, an error in the exchange rate between Brazilian reals and U.S. dollars meant that users who put down their country of origin as Brazil got massive deals.

A round-trip, business-class ticket from Sao Paulo to Hong Kong, for example, cost around $350 USD. Usually, it costs around $3,350. Airline Reporter found one flier who claimed to have scored an economy ticket from Seattle to Rio de Janeiro for just $175.

The best news: American Airlines realized the mistake within a day, but it will still let those lucky buyers keep their cheap tickets (as long as they do actually live in Brazil; if you changed your origin country to Brazil in order to snag the deal, sorry, but that trick won't work.)

That stands in comparison to United, which had a similar error in February involving travelers who set their country of origin to Denmark but refused to let fliers keep their good deals.
