PHS to provide garden-to-table experience

On Oct. 7, a garden-to-table dining event will take place in the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) Warehouse in the Navy Yard. PHeaSt, which benefits the PHS City Harvest program, will feature garden-fresh samples from local restaurants. 

The event pairs top chefs with regional growers. While the chefs produce the food, the growers will share gardening tips with attendees.

Along with the dishes, there will be craft cocktails and beer provided by a long list of partners. Tickets start at $165 per person (or $150 for PHS members).
